The people on the grounds really stay in character and make it feel like long ago. Very informative about subjects such as making clothing, food, and how it was to live here. There is a small gift shop here with many things for children, and some really cool finds for the grown ups. Prices are very reasonable. They explain almost everything you want to know about the time period. Great place to spend a few hours in the summer. There isn't any food or picnic areas. Well worth the trip.
