Salesman greeted us at the door as it is their typical behavior. Rather than hound us through the store he allowed us to shop on our own. Once he realized we were ready for answers to our questions he arrived and made the sale
I had ordered a chest of drawers from online and when it arrived at my local store I was called to pick it up multiple times, even after telling someone when I would be picking it up. They left messages threatening to send it back if I did not come to get it by Friday of that week. Finally I borrowed someones truck and was able to go get the dresser. When I arrived, they opened the box to show it to me only to find that the entire thing was broken. I shrugged this off thinking it must have been an accident and reordered the item. When the next one came in, I called and asked that they check it to make sure it was not broken, as I did not want to drive there again without knowing. About 30 minutes later someone from the store called me back to tell me that it was broken. I questioned why it was not checked before I was called to come pick it up and they said they usually don't check it until the customer is there, which doesn't make much sense to me. She then told me that I could pay $50 so that I could just get it shipped directly to my home. I am not sure how that was supposed to solve anything really. Needless to say I cancelled my order and never plan to go back there again. Not only is the furniture obviously poor quality, but the customer service is horrible as well.
